Aidan Johnson is a Junior Grant Program Analyst at Avalon Growth Capital, where he supports the firm's grant advisory work for private and family-owned businesses across the forestry, sustainable building, and food and agriculture sectors. He conducts research on federal grant programs, including USDA Wood Innovations, MPPEP, VAPG, and EDA funding, and contributes to case studies, Q&A materials, and proposal development that help clients navigate and pursue non-dilutive capital opportunities.
Before joining Avalon Growth Capital, Aidan managed digital infrastructure and grant-related initiatives for a rare disease nonprofit, contributing to a significant grant award from a major research foundation, and held a systems analyst role at NOAA. He has also been involved in cold outreach and relationship-building across the Denver finance community.
This past experience is an extremely valuable addition to the team as Avalon looks to serve businesses and organizations in applying for and successfully securing grants across the federal landscape.
Aidan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Business Analytics at the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business, where he is a member of the Leeds Investment & Trading Group focused on small-cap equity research.
