Sam Kelly is a Senior Analyst at Avalon Growth Capital, where he supports the firm’s business consulting, investment banking advisory, and project development advisory engagements for private and family-owned businesses. He works across a range of strategic and execution-oriented assignments, including financial analysis, valuation, diligence support, market research, and the preparation of materials for debt and equity capital formation, M&A advisory, and project financing initiatives. His experience supports Avalon Growth Capital’s broader mission of delivering customized business strategies and financing solutions that help clients pursue sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Before joining the firm, Sam served as a Financial Strategy Associate at Places To Go Inc., a venture-backed startup, where he developed integrated financial models and prepared investor materials for angel round fundraising. He previously held business development and client-facing roles at Templafy and Vention, working with senior executives at global professional services firms including Deloitte, EY, and BCG.

Sam earned his MBA and Master of Science in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Managerial Economics from Colby College. He has passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam and is currently studying for the Series 63 and Series 82 FINRA licenses.
